Mr. Steeg has over fifteen years of finance experience serving numerous roles in corporate and investment banking, public accounting and internal accounting with companies across a variety of industries. Most recently, Mr. Steeg served as Chief Financial Officer of a Fort Worth based telecommunications provider, New Talk, Inc. Prior to New Talk, Inc. Mr. Steeg worked as an Associate Director for West LB AG's Global Energy Investment Banking Practice originating, structuring and executing senior debt and project finance transactions for clients in the energy industry including exploration and production, midstream, downstream, alternatives and renewable companies. Throughout his career, Mr. Steeg has executed over 30 transactions totaling in excess of $15 billion for clients across numerous industry sectors including general industrials, energy, media and telecommunications among others.
Prior to West LB, Mr. Steeg was employed for seven years with Bank of America, N.A., most recently as a Vice President structuring and underwriting syndicated credit facilities. Mr. Steeg spent five years with Bank of America, N.A.'s media and telecommunications global corporate and investment banking group underwriting senior debt financing. Throughout his career, Mr. Steeg has provided corporate finance services to such names as Chaparral Steel Company, Comcast, Commercial Metals, DreamWorks SKG, Texas Industries, Media News Group, Nova BioSource, PetroEdge, Phelps Dodge Corporation, RAM Energy, Rent-A-Center and Vanguard Car Rental. Prior experience includes positions in public accounting at Arthur Andersen and in finance at the Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Steeg holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University and is a Member of the American Institute of Public Accountants.
